Our family room

So here is a picture of my family room BEFORE. I have taken countless and clearer photos of this room over the years with no one in it and do you think I could lay my hands on any of them? (Next to do item, organize photos..) So, minus my parent's friends in the room, you can see fairly well how it looked.

Family Room Makeover - Phase One
I've been busy! We had a roof leak in our home which prompted half of our Formal Living Room to be torn down to the studs and base floor. So, since we strive in chaos, I decided to redo our family room and kitchen area since our home was already a disaster.
First, I had to find just the right paint. Our room was very french country with walls painted in Butter from Restoration Hardware. I have loved this paint for the last 7 years. However, we were ready for a change. I'm headed towards Pottery Barn person slams into eclectic person.

Fall Colors Come Home....

Like most of my friends, Autumn by far, is my favorite season of the year. I love the colors, the smells, the foods, the clothes.... I have a few fun decorating ideas for the season. Can't wait to show them off! For now, the latest addition was my center arrangement for my formal living room sofa table. It's obviously simple but I love the way it looks in the room!
ONE PHOTO AT A TIME......

Hello everyone! Well, now that summer vacation is over it was time to get back to some unfinished business! I finally completed my glass window that I bought over a month ago! Here it is! I love it! It's new home will be in our office but that is currently under redecorating construction. Hope you like it!
First, I bought 8 x 10 picture mats since custom cut was too expensive. I decided to use a black and white design scrapbooking paper behind them for a little added fun! It is very heavy and will have to the Mr. attach heavy duty wire and such so that it won't come crashing down. Once the office is complete I will be posting before and after shots with my new window of course!
